The outlook for the future of the supply chain in 2024 is very interesting and unique. One of the most important conflicts every company is affected by in global shipping and trading is the Red Sea. As many know shipments crossing through the Suez Canal are getting gunned down and freights have to find new routes to transport freight. This is a prime example of how a supply chain should operate by having second options at any level of the transportation aspect. One of the key solutions to this is the implementation of Artificial intelligence (AI). As said in the article, throughout 2024 and the future it is working as a channel to decrease shipping times and use its technology to maximize the supply chain potential. This is key as it will create supply chain visibility and real-time data that will only improve and allow supply chains locally and globally to flow efficiently.
